Fundraising Galas: 9th annual Arts & Letters Auction and Reception

9th annual Arts & Letters Auction and Reception

On October 26, 2009, LW Events helped the YMCA of Greater New York celebrate its 9th annual Arts & Letters Auction and Reception at Jazz at Lincoln Center. The event raised over $450,000 to support the Y After School Program and honored actress Tamara Tunie, celebrity chef Marcus Samuelsson, and The Billys from the Tony Award- winning Billy Elliot the Musical. The event included a silent and live auction along with a performances from all of the honorees. With over 300 people in attendance it was one of the most successful Y events in history.
